DEMONICAL: New Vocalist Announced

March 27, 2008

DEMONICAL, the new Swedish death metal band featuring past and present members from CENTINEX, GRAVE, REGURGITATE, INTERMENT, AMARAN, WORLD BELOW and DELLAMORTE, has issued the following update:

"We hereby announce that Sverker 'Widda' Widgren also known for his guitar work with DIABOLICAL and as the co-owner of Necromorbus Studios has joined DEMONICAL as the new full-time vocalist. After a splendid session job on the Finnish tour, we came to the conclusion that Widda is the right man for the job. His first 'official' show will be at Tantogrden in Stockholm on April 4th together with NECROPHOBIC and SPAZMOSITY.

"We are also sorry for the fact that we have to cancel the scheduled show in Vsters, Sweden, set for May 9th due to various timing problems."

DEMONICAL has been confirmed for the 10th edition of the legendary Obscene Extreme festival, set to take place July 10-12 in Trutnov, Czech Republic.

The band's debut album, "Servants of the Unlight", was released in April 2007 via Germany's Cyclone Empire Records. The group toured Europe with NUNSLAUGHTER and NOMINON, and took part in Germany's Up From The Ground festival. They also supported GRAVE on select Scandinavian dates.
