DESTRUCTION's SCHMIER Interviewed At WACKEN OPEN AIR; Video Available

Evil Elvis of Festivals2Go.com conducted an interview with DESTRUCTION/HEADHUNTER frontman Marcel "Schmier" Schirmer at this year's Wacken Open Air festival, which was held July 31 - August 2 in Wacken, Germany. Watch the chat below.

DESTRUCTION has confirmed its first shows in support of te hband's new album, "D.E.V.O.L.U.T.I.O.N.", which will be released on August 22 via AFM Records. A complete list of dates can be found at this location.

A brand new DESTRUCTION track, "Vicious Circle - The 7 Seven Deadly Sins", is available for streaming on the band's MySpace page. The song comes off "D.E.V.O.L.U.T.I.O.N.", which was recorded at Hansen Studios in Ribe, Denmark with producer Jacob Hansen.

DESTRUCTION's "Thrash Anthems" album, a collection of reworked/re-recorded versions of the band's classic tracks, was released in January 2007 via AFM Records.
