DEVILDRIVER Film Video For 'I Could Care Less'
October 6, 2003DEVILDRIVER (formerly DEATHRIDE),the new Santa Barbara, California-based project featuring ex-COAL CHAMBER frontman Dez Fafara, shot a video for the track "I Could Care Less" with director P.R. Brown (JERRY CANTRELL, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE) on Sunday (October 5). "I Could Care Less" is the first single off the group's self-titled debut album, due on October 28 through Roadrunner Records.
The band, whose sound is being described as "much heavier" than that of COAL CHAMBER and featuring "more technical" musicianship than that found in Fafara's former band, recorded the album with producer Ross Hogarth, who has previously worked with COAL CHAMBER, MÖTLEY CRÜE, and FASTER PUSSYCAT, among others. The mixing sessions were handled by Greg Reely (FEAR FACTORY, MACHINE HEAD).

DEVILDRIVER have been confirmed for the upcoming SUPERJOINT RITUAL North American tour, which commences on October 16 in Columbus, Ohio. MORBID ANGEL also appear. The November 14 date is part of the first annual New Jersey Metal And Hardcore Fest, the offshoot of the ever-popular New England Metal And Hardcore Fest.
