DIRTY LOOKS: 'The Worst Of...' Collection Coming Soon
April 18, 2009Reunited hard rockers DIRTY LOOKS are currently putting the finishing touches on a "best-of" collection titled "The Worst Of Dirty Looks" (see cover below). It is a 31-song double CD set spanning the band's career from 1984 to 1994. This package will contain rare songs with lyrics for every track.
DIRTY LOOKS recently had its 1996 album "Slave to the Machine" reissued via Perris Records.
This CD was the last one recorded by the band before singer/guitarist Henrik Ostergaard decided to call it a day with DIRTY LOOKS and founded BURNING ORANGE with Scott Robison on vocals.
"Slave" was the 11th album in DIRTY LOOKS' discography and quickly became quickly one of the hardest to find. It hit the highest prices on the second-hand market where it was sold up to a hundred bucks by lucky owners of the CD.
This remastered reissue comes with two bonus tracks recorded live at the Warner Theater show in Erie, Pennsylvania on October 5, 2008: "Everything's Gonna Be Alright" and the encore song, "Let There Be Rock".
DIRTY LOOKS' latest album, "California Free Ride", was released last October via Perris Records. The disc was mastered by guitarist Anthony Focx (BANG TANGO, BEAUTIFUL CREATURES, BUCKCHERRY) and contains "ten tracks of killer tunes guaranteed to blow away the fall/winter blues with a heavy dose of down and dirty hard rock power," according to a press release.
