DISTURBED: 'Just Stop' Video Posted Online
January 13, 2006DISTURBED's video for the second single off the "Ten Thousand Fists" album, "Just Stop", is available for streaming at www.mp3.com. The band reportedly shot part of the clip live in their hometown of Chicago on their fall 2005 tour and finished it during another show there at the end of November. DISTURBED frontman David Draiman told Launch that "Just Stop" is his take on a particular type of relationship. "Ever been in a relationship situation where, for whatever reason, the other partner in the relationship is always trying to do things to make things more dramatic? For no good reason?" he explained. "And if they just relax and allow things to be and just grow and develop, that everything would be much happier and more peaceful. So that's the idea behind that song."
As previously reported, DISTURBED frontman David Draiman's house will be showcased on MTV's "Cribs" on Wednesday, January 25 at 10:00 p.m. ET.
DISTURBED kicked off the second leg of the Jägermeister Music Tour last Friday (Jan. 6) in Spokane, Washington. This part of the trek runs through February 24 in Fort Wayne, Indiana and focuses mainly on the West Coast and the South. BLOODSIMPLE and other special guests are along to open the shows.
"Ten Thousand Fists", DISTURBED's third album, debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 when it was released last September. The album has since been certifield platinum by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) for shipments in excess of one million copies.
