DRACONIAN: 'The Burning Halo' Delayed Again
February 23, 2006Swedish gothic doom metal band DRACONIAN have once again pushed back the projected release date of their special "bonus" album, tentatively titled "The Burning Halo" (Napalm Records),to late spring/early summer from the previously announced February. The CD will feature three new songs, two or three demo songs in new versions and three covers.
DRACONIAN's sophomore album, "Arcane Rain Fell", was released in January 2005 through Napalm Records. The follow-up to 2003's "Where Lovers Mourn" was recorded at Studio Underground in Västerås, Sweden and contains more than 60 minutes of music, including the 16-minute epic "Death, Come Near Me" (previously released on the 2002 demo "Dark Oceans We Cry").
