DRAGONFORCE Drummer Dislocates Elbow, Band To Utilize Drum Machine
June 17, 2004Upon leaving Paris to return to the U.K. for two extra shows that complete the tour with W.A.S.P., DRAGONFORCE's tour bus was involved in an accident that left drummer Dave Mackintosh with a dislocated elbow that will see him out of action for at least six weeks.
Despite this major setback, the London-based extreme power metal sextet have vowed to carry on with the tour and their shows with W.A.S.P. at the Waterfront in Norwich Wednesday night (June 16) and the Bierkeller in Bristol Thursday night (June 17) will see the band play with a drum machine.
DRAGONFORCE are currently promoting their second album, "Sonic Firestorm", which was released by the Noise/Sanctuary label in mid-April. The group are currently planning a headlining U.K. tour for the autumn of 2004.
