Dubai Prepares For AEROSMITH's Arrival

April 18, 2007

Gulf Daily News has issued the following report:

Stadium rock is coming to the region, with AEROSMITH performing in the Gulf for the first time next month.

The iconic rock band will be performing at the Dubai Exiles Rugby Ground, the same venue hosting the annual Rugby's 7's Tournament, on May 31.

Bahrain-based Mirage Promotions is presenting the concert, which is expected to be attended by more than 20,000 fans from across the region.

"We are absolutely delighted to be hosting Aerosmith, who we know will provide an unforgettable show," said Dubai Exiles Chairman Steve Blackburn.

The show will be AEROSMITH's only Middle East performance. The venue and adjacent areas will be capable of handling 10,000 cars and taxis.
