A brand-new two-minute interview with Eddie Van Halen, conducted over the phone this morning (April 9) by Greg Dwyer and Bill Michaels of the Davenport, Iowa radio station KCQQ Q106.5 FM, has been posted online at this location (file size: 2 MB).

Commented Dwyer and Michaels: "We got Eddie on the phone this morning, but only for a couple minutes. He was in a pretty good mood. He couldn't talk long because he had a chick on the other line! But, he told us he was finishing up 'the third song' for the [upcoming 'best of'] album."
