EDENBRIDGE Cancel Brazilian Tour
October 24, 2002Austrian "angelic bombast metal" act EDENBRIDGE have cancelled their Brazilian tour "due to the enormous devaluation of the Brazilian currency," according to the group's official web site.
"I'm very sorry to say that the tour has been cancelled so few days before it should have started," said guitarist/keyboarder Lanvall. "Our record label Hellion Records did their best to bring us over, but the terrible devaluation and the bad economic situation made it impossible. But anyway Hellion assured us to bring us over next spring. The momentary plan says April 2003, so I am very confident for that. Our new album 'Aphelion' will be also out by then. We received so many great and enthusiastic mails from all of you longing for to see us live. We are also longing for that tour and I'm sure it will happen then."
In other news, EDENBRIDGE will enter House of Audio studio in Karlsdorf, Germany on November 1 with producer Dennis Ward (ANGRA, PINK CREAM 69) to record their next album, titled "Aphelion".
Among the cuts set to appear on the CD — the group's first with new bassist Stefan Model — are the following:
01. The Undiscovered Land
02. Farpoint Anywhere
03. On The Verge Of Infinity
04. Skyward
05. The Final Curtain
06. Where Silence Has Lease
07. Red Ball In Blue Sky
08. Deadend Fire
09. Fly At Higher Game
10. As Far As Eyes Can See
11. Perennial Dreams
12. The Whispering Gallery
