EDGUY: Japanese Version Of Live Album To Include Bonus Track

German melodic metallers EDGUY will release their double live album, "Burning Down The Opera", in Japan on August 21. The Japanese version of the album will include an exclusive bonus track, "Wake Up The King" (which originally appeared on the group's 1999 release "Theater Of Salvation"),as well as stickers. As previously reported, "Burning Down The Opera" entered the German Media Control album chart last month at No. 57.

Several photos of EDGUY's performance at Tuska festival in Helsinki, Finland on July 12 have been posted online at this location.

EDGUY have just entered the studio to begin recording their new album, "Mysteria", for an early 2004 release through AFM Records. The follow-up to 2001's "Mandrake" will feature a musical direction that has been described by vocalist Tobias Sammet as "epic, heavy, [and] melodic," and will include a collaboration with the German film orchestra Babelsberg (SCORPIONS) on an as-yet-undisclosed track.
