ELIXIR To Release Live Album

October 6, 2005

NWOBHM legends ELIXIR have announced the release of their first live album, "Elixir Live", on October 31. At a running time of 78 minutes, the CD contains live versions of material taken from the band's first three studio albums, along with live versions of "Winds of Time", which featured on the B-side of the band's first and now highly collectable single "Treachery", and "Death Toll", which initially appeared on the band's very first demo tape recorded in 1983. ELIXIR will also take time out from working on their brand new studio album, "Mindcreeper", to appear at the Motala Metal Festival in Sweden on November 19 to promote their new live album and the single/EP release of "Knocking on the Gates of Hell", taken from the new studio album, both of which will be released on the TPL label.
