ELVENKING Putting Finishing Touches On New Album

Italian folk/power metal band ELVENKING have posted the following message on their official web site:

"During these days the band have finished the recording process for the new album!!! Only some small particulars are missing and they'll be carried out within Friday 10th June since Aydan and Damnagoras will fly to Helsinki the morning of Saturday 11th to begin the mix at Sonic Pump Studios with producer Nino Laurenne."

ELVENKING's third album is tentatively scheduled for release in the fall via AFM Records. The follow-up to 2004's "Wyrd" is being recorded at the group's own Sherpa Studios. The final mastering will be handled by Mika Jussila at Finnvox in Helsinki. Cover artwork and booklet layout are being designed by Hungarian artist Havancsák Gyula (ANNIHILATOR, GRAVE DIGGER).

ELVENKING recently announced the departure of guitarist Jarpen. For the time being, the group will go on as a five-piece.
