ENSLAVED Confirmed For Norway's STORÅSFESTIVALEN

Norwegian extreme metallers ENSLAVED have been confirmed for Storåsfestivalen 2006, set to be held July 29 in Storås, Norway (close to Trondheim). "The festival features all kinds of musical genres, and has also become famous for its close interaction with the surrounding wilderness and nature," the band write on their web site.

ENSLAVED recently finished shooting two videos from the "Ruun" album (due in Europe on May 22, except in Norway, where it's being released on May 8): "Path to Vanir", which will be released before the end of March, and a follow-up clip, "Essence", which will be made available in the summer.

The recordings for ENSLAVED's follow-up to the band's Norwegian Grammy- and Alarm award-winning album "Isa" (2004) began in early January at Amper Studio in Oslo, Norway.

ENSLAVED will be teaming up with KHOLD and VREID for a European tour in the fall. More information will be made available soon.
