EPHEL DUATH: New Audio Interview Available
January 22, 2009Italian news blog Musica Metal has uploaded an English-launguage audio interview with Davide Tiso (songwriter, guitar, keyboard, vocals) and Luciano Lorusso George (vocals) of Italian avant-garde metallers EPHEL DUATH. (Note: Luciano left the band a few weeks after EPHEL DUATH's new CD, "Through My Dog's Eyes", was completed, and was replaced by Guillermo Gonzalez. However, since Luciano is the singer and one of the songwriters on the album, he is still taking part in the promotional activities for the LP.)
The twelve-minute interview can be streamed on Musica Metal (click on the green play button to launch audio).
"Through My Dog's Eyes" is based on a concept conjured up by guitarist and founding member Davide Tiso, in which the entire album is written from the perspective of a dog.
Due to be released by Earache Records on January 26, "Through My Dog's Eyes" includes a limited-edition bonus DVD. The DVD contains an exclusive art-documentary, featuring an in-depth look at the concepts behind the new album, along with the history and evolution of the band, all told by mainman Davide Tiso.
Check out a trailer for the DVD below.
