EVERGREY To Commence Work On Fourth Full-Length Album
July 14, 2002Swedish "progressive power metal" band EVERGREY are scheduled to begin recording their fourth full-length album, tentatively titled Recreation Day, in mid-September with producer Neil Kernon (i.e. CANNIBAL CORPSE, NEVERMORE, QUEENSRŸCHE) for an early 2003 release through Inside Out Music. According to guitarist/vocalist Tom S. Englund, "the songwriting is going extremely well. As a matter of fact, I today brought home two new songs with me and I am listening to them right now and must say, it sounds fuckin great.... 'More of everything' is something we live by, so you know what to expect."
In other news, EVERGREY appear to have found a new keyboard player who is currently contributing to the songwriting process "in a GREAT way," according to Englund, "but we won't announce or go public with this until we are totally sure of where we stand, so stay tuned on this one..."
