EVERYDAY ENEMY: New Recordings Posted Online
June 2, 2007Southern California upstarts EVERYDAY ENEMY have just completed work on new recordings with Geza X, producer for a number of early and influential Los Angeles punk bands, including the DEAD KENNEDYS, THE GERMS, BLACK FLAG and THE AVENGERS. Three songs from the sessions, which took place at Geza X's Malibu recording studios, can be heard at EVERYDAY ENEMY's MySpace page.
EVERYDAY ENEMY is a band that has taken life in 2007, combining members of several bands from Bakersfield, California's substantial underground music scene. After playing shows to several packed houses in southern California, Risky Management and Geza X got together for what Geza X terms is his "passion project." "The hope in this day and age is to find unique sounding bands and provide them with a springboard so fans of heavy music with style can get the opportunity to here it," said Glenn Alderson, founder of Risky Management.
After touring and recording for the first half of 2007 EVERYDAY ENEMY will kick off a slate of shows on June 20 at the Viper Room in Hollywood, California with longtime friends ADEMA.
