EVIDENCE ONE Parts Ways With Guitarist, Announces Replacement
June 17, 2008German melodic metallers EVIDENCE ONE have issued the following update:
"One more major announcement: we have another new family member in Mr. Connie Andreszka (CABAL, ex-CIRCLE OF PAIN) on the guitar! Besides being a brilliant guitarist (did some extensive touring as live member of CRYSTAL BALL),Connie is one hell of singer! That guy's got balls for sure!
"After more than four years, our friend and brother Schimmi decided to leave the band. He told us about his decision a couple months after the release of 'The Sky Is The Limit', but promised to do one last tour, which we did with SAXON, and stay as long as he's needed. We'll miss you, brother! Take care, thanx for four fantastic years and 'Neizuend'n'!
"Songwriting for our fourth studio album (working title simply 'E4') has just begun. The first track Robby and Lizard wrote together rocks under the name of 'Standing Still (In A Turning World)'."
EVIDENCE ONE's latest album, entitled "The Sky is the Limit", was released last year via AFM Records. The follow-up to 2004's "Tattooed Heart" was written and produced by songwriter Robby Bbel, who quit his position as the group's guitarist but will continue to be involved with the band behind the scenes. A video for the song "The Sky is the Limit" was filmed at the Rockfabrik Nuremberg with Maurice Swinkels (lead singer of Dutch metal band LEGION OF THE DAMNED) of Holland's Lowlife Media (MASTERPLAN, PRIMAL FEAR, EXODUS) and can be viewed below.
