Ex-DEMON DRIVE Bassist Decides Against Joining Reunited CASANOVA
April 5, 2004Due to "personal and musical differences," ex-DEMON DRIVE and BOYSVOICE bass player Jochen Mayer has decided not to be a part of the newly reformed CASANOVA and has joined the German melodic metal band DOMAIN instead. Mayer is currently in the studio working on DOMAIN's new CD, "The Last Days Of Utopia", tentatively due later in the year.
"Jochen is an old friend of the band, with [whom] we all loved to work for quite some time," DOMAIN write on their web site. "Jochen already started recording his bass parts for our upcoming new album. It's damn great to have him in [the band]!"
According to the band, the upcoming DOMAIN CD will be "a full conceptual album" and will feature "huge and epic choirs, fast guitars, fat keys & orchestra arrangements all transporting one complete story!"
