Ex-NIGHTWISH Frontwoman: New Single Cracks Finnish Top 5

Former NIGHTWISH vocalist Tarja Turunen has entered the Finnish single chart at position No. 5 with her latest solo release, "You Would Have Loved This". View the whole chart at this location.

"You Would Have Loved This" was written by Cori Connors who has also composed for the legendary Linda Ronstadt. The single contains two songs: "You Would Have Loved This" and "Walking in the Air" by Howard Blake. These versions are only available on this single as the album versions of "You Would Have Loved This" and "Walking in the Air" are different.

Commented Tarja: "I found the song 'You Would Have Loved This' from America. The story in the lyrics fits perfectly in this album. It's about the loss of a dear one. With this in mind we did an even more intimate version for album than for the single. It has very touching and beautiful melody."

The song comes off Turunen's Christmas album, "Henkäys Ikuisuudesta" (Breath from Heaven),which is officially released today (November 8).
