EXTOL: New Album Title Revealed
December 16, 2004Norwegian progressive thrash/death metallers EXTOL have set "Blueprint" (short for "The Blueprint Dives") as the title of their fourth full-length album, due in Europe on February 21, 2005 via Century Media Records. A U.S. release date has yet to be confirmed. A sample cut from the CD, "Gloriana", can currently be found on the Century Media compilation CD "Metal For the Masses Vol. 3", available now at Hot Topic stores throughout the U.S.
"At the moment, lots of things are stirring in the EXTOL camp," the band write on their web site. "Final touches to the album cover are lain down by Asterik Studios in Seattle, USA. A music video for the track 'Pearl' from the upcoming EXTOL album will be recorded in Trondheim, Norway this week. A brand new web site is under construction. A new t-shirt based on the song '26 Miles from Marathon' has been designed and can now be ordered online. To support the new album we are planning the most extensive worldwide touring from EXTOL to date, and can already reveal that several shows have been booked."
EXTOL recently announced the addition of guitarists Tor Glidje and Ole Halvard Sveen (both ex-LENGSEL and ex-GANGLION) to the group's ranks.
