EYES SET TO KILL To Tour With THE HUMAN ABSTRACT

May 26, 2008

Arizona's EYES SET TO KILL will team up with THE HUMAN ABSTRACT and IN FEAR AND FAITH for a U.S. tour beginning on June 19.

EYES SET TO KILL's recent tour with OTEP was cut short after OTEP singer Otep Shamaya was diagnosed with a throat infection.

EYES SET TO KILL's rise throughout the screamo scene has been nothing short of amazing. The band was crowned MySpace top unsigned act for over ten months before signing to California-based BreakSilence for the release of the group's recently released debut full-length, "Reach". The album, which debuted at No. 29 on Billboard's Heatseekers chart and No. 77 on Billboard's Independent Music chart, is powered by the dual lead vocal attack of Alexia Rodriguez's melodic vocals and the gut-wrenching screams of Brandon Anderson to create a sound Alternative Press called "sparkling melodic prowess and filthy screamo grind."

EYES SET TO KILL is currently preparing to shoot a video for the track "Darling". The group's debut clip, "Reach", has racked up more than 170,000 plays on YouTube in just over three months.

The "Reach" video was directed by Motion Army and can be viewed below.
