FATES WARNING Drummer To Jam With MONTROSE

FATES WARNING drummer Mark Zonder will be playing old MONTROSE tunes with Ronnie Montrose, Ricky Phillips (bass) and Johnny Lesveque (vocals) at the Dallas Guitar Show on April 17. "This should be quite exciting as MONTROSE was my favorite band for many many years," Zonder said in an online posting. "Sort of a dream come true."

As previously reported, Zonder has teamed up with guitarist Gary Wehrkamp (SHADOW GALLERY) and vocalist D.C. Cooper (SILENT FORCE, ex-ROYAL HUNT) in a new project called ALFA-DOG. The group's musical direction is described by Zonder as "song-oriented, commercial-style, while still keeping to our progressive roots." ALFA-DOG are currently shopping around for a record deal. No further information is available at this time.
