Guitarist Geno Lenardo recently commented on the addition of touring guitarist Al Beiley (click here to view photo) to the group's line-up. This is what he had to say:

Rich and I had discussed the idea of adding a second guitarist for the live shows in the past, and we thought the addition would help to enhance the density and thickness of the sound. So a few months back, we started looking around for players, which is when Alan entered the picture. He was a college roommate of mine, and we've been friends ever since, so when he heard about the spot, he started showing up at the studio for rehearsals. Alan's a great guy and is a smoking guitar player. He's also very well versed in styles like blues, jazz, rock and all sorts of stuff, and he has a lot of skill and discipline. He really wants to play the role of rhythm guitar in FILTER to help cement the sound live and we're all really excited to have him on board!”

A full length MP3 of the “punk rock song” "So I Quit" will be made available for download via FILTER's official web site at www.officialfilter.com in a couple of weeks. The album's first single is due to go for radio adds in June.
