FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH Guitarist Comes To Aid Of Cop On Highway
December 27, 2016According to The Pulse Of Radio, FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH has always shown strong support for members of law enforcement and the military, and guitarist Zoltan Bathory did it again by coming to the aid of a police officer on a Las Vegas highway on Christmas Eve (December 24). Bathory spotted the officer crouched down in the dirt on the side of the road changing a tire for an elderly woman and immediately pulled over to see if there was any way he could assist.
Bathory thanked the officer for his service and offered assistance if he needed it, sharing a photo of the moment on Twitter.
In addition to their support for law enforcement, FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH have supported programs for returning soldiers, gone overseas to play for U.S. troops and make it a point to hire veterans for their tour and security teams.
FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH recently completed a co-headlining tour with SHINEDOWN but was without lead singer Ivan Moody for the last eight shows. Moody was unable to complete a gig in Massachusetts in late November and was sent home with an undisclosed illness. Phil Labonte from ALL THAT REMAINS filled in on vocals for the last eight dates.
