FLOTSAM AND JETSAM Wants To Write 'Unbelievable' New Record
January 23, 2007FLOTSAM AND JETSAM drummer Craig Nielsen has issued the following update:
"Unreal and impressive is the only way to describe how [Eric] A.K. [vocals] is doing so well at his flight training, and he will very soon be eligible to fly helicopters privately, then he gets his professional license soon after that. Much respect! And the band has just formally agreed that it wants to write an unbelievable record in the midst of so many positive things happening personally for all members. I can't remember a time when the vibe and physical health of FLOTSAM was this improved. Great time to write something inspired. Also, we are playing two shows — on March 30 in L.A. and the 31st with TESTAMENT and others at The Galaxy Theater in Santa Ana. It will be the first time we played with TESTAMENT since Thrash Of the Titans in San Francisco [in August 2001], and we very much look forward to that show. And, of course, you always got to bring your best every time you play L.A. Our last show there at the House Of Blues [in July 2006] with ARMORED SAINT and DEATH ANGEL was some of the most fun we ever had on stage. We are looking forward to the follow-up..."
