FLOWING TEARS Split With Singer, Seek Replacement
January 25, 2003Germany's FLOWING TEARS have parted ways with singer Stefanie Duchene. According to the group, "Stefanie wants to focus on private things in the future and coudn't combine that with the band's touring and recording plans any longer — so both sides decided that it would be the best for all to go separate ways.
"The decision to part ways with Stefanie was a hard one for all of us, and the reason why we did it was to enable the band to go on. We have already written half the new album, and we are convinced that the new stuff is by far the best we've ever written. Currently we are looking for a new singer, and as soon as we've found a new vocalist who both musically and personally fits into FLOWING TEARS we'll continue our way at 120%!!!!! We'll definitely record the new album within this year and we'll back on stage with our new singer as soon as possible."
Singers interested in auditioning for the group should send an e-mail with info to: [email protected].
