FORESHADOW Debut To Be Released Early

December 3, 2008

In preparation for both the holiday season and FORESHADOW's spring 2009 touring plans, Blastzone Entertainment has announced the early release of the band's debut, "Nations Of Failure", with international distribution through Koch Entertainment, Zero Music Group, Code 7, Plastic Head and PHD.

FORESHADOW blends the core genres of death metal, black metal, old-school thrash metal and a minute level of metal core to create its own unqiue sound.

The band's debut album, "Nations of Failure", was recorded at D.O.W. (Diet Of Worms) Studios in Seffner, FL, and was co-produced and engineered by Juan "Punchy" Gonzalez. Gonzalez is known in metal circles for his work on releases such as MORBID ANGEL's "Heretic" as well as various albums from the catalogs of DIABOLIC and TERRORIZER.

Blastzone Entertainment was formed in 2006 by Mike Wilkerson, with the mission of giving up-and-coming bands a fair deal. Wilkerson devised a label model that would focus on the bands' early development and allow them to grow. His passion for music is intense, and has helped the label to grow by leaps and bounds since its inception.

After hearing the material from FORESHADOW's debut album, the label decided to move up the date from a January release to December 9, feeling the pre-holiday release would garner better attention and interest for the band itself.

Watch for FORESHADOW tour dates to be posted from March through May 2009 as they take "Nations Of Failure" on the road.
