Former AGAINST THE TIDES/OATH BY BLOOD Singer Killed by Alleged Drunk Driver

Ryan DeZurik (MySpace page),the former lead singer of the Christian heavy metal bands AGAINST THE TIDES and OATH BY BLOOD, was killed by an alleged drunk driver Sunday night (August 16) in northeastern Stearns County, Minnesota, according to StarTribune.com. He was 19 years old.

Timothy Allen Rausch, 29, of Cushing, Minn., was charged Monday with criminal vehicular homicide, appeared in court today and remains in the county jail on $100,000 bail.

DeZurik, who graduated high school from St. Cloud Christian School, was studying multimedia at Rasmussen College and attending church at Joy Christian Center in St. Cloud.
