Former ALICE IN CHAINS Guitarist Jams With CAMP FREDDY At NYC Gig

Former ALICE IN CHAINS guitarist Jerry Cantrell and ex-THE CULT guitarist Billy Duffy were among the special guests that appeared with CAMP FREDDY at the "Vanity Fair In Concert" charity event benefiting Step Up Women's Network on Thursday (Oct. 21) at the Irving Plaza in New York City. CAMP FREDDY is the Los Angeles-based "jam" band consisting of JANE'S ADDICTION guitarist Dave Navarro, former THE CULT touring bassist Billy Morrison (on guitar),ex-JANE'S ADDICTION drummer Stephen Perkins, and vocalist Donovan Leitch (the son of 1960s U.K. folk-rock icon Donovan).

CAMP FREDDY entered a Los Angeles studio in January to begin recording their all-star "covers" album for Sanctuary Records. An early 2005 release is expected.
