Former BLACK SABBATH Singer Names New Solo Album
December 4, 2004According to Black-Sabbath.com, former BLACK SABBATH frontman Tony Martin has set "Scream" as the title of his forthcoming sophomore solo album, tentatively due in early 2005. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Bitter Sweet", "Field of Lies", "Wherever You Go", "Unbearable", "Raising Hell" and "Wings of Thunder". The first pressing of the album will be limited to 2,000 copies, with a wider release planned a few months later. The late SABBATH drummer Cozy Powell (ex-RAINBOW, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN) will be featured on two of the album cuts, "Raising Hell" and "Wings of Thunder". Commented Martin about Cozy's appearance on the CD, "when I fronted COZY POWELL'S HAMMER, he gave me 20 drumming tracks to write some songs with. I forgot I had them untill I found them recently in the move to my new house."
Tony Martin's solo debut, "Back Where I Belong", was released in 1992.
