Former ELEGY Frontman IAN PARRY: New Solo Album Audio Samples Available

January 19, 2006

Former ELEGY frontman Ian Parry has announced that he has signed a licensing deal for his new solo CD, "Visions", with the U.K.-based independent label Escape Music. Ian's fourth solo CD, "Visions" is scheduled for release on February 21.

According to a press release, "Ian has recorded this CD based on the wishes of many of his longtime fans, who asked Ian if he come add some of his flavor from his earlier days, which Ian did with pleasure! The style is a very diverse mix of gothic rock, lite grunge, to classical melodic power rock/metal. 'Visions' features special performances from many great musicians such as Ivar de Graaf (former drummer of WITHIN TEMPTATION),Casey Grillo (drummer of U.S. metal giants KAMELOT),Stephan Lill (guitarist of prog-metal band VANDEN PLAS) and members of Ian's original solo band."

Commented Ian: "It took a while, but being Christmas and all, I see the official release date of 'Visions' as a sort Christmas present to my fans, and just to say that the future is looking brighter in 2006 and beyond."
