Former ELEGY Frontman Inks Mexican Deal For New Solo Album

Former ELEGY frontman Ian Parry (through his label Non-Stop Productions) has inked a three-year licensing deal with Oz Productions in Mexico. Oz intend to release Ian's fourth solo CD, "Visions", sometime in April 2006. Ian hopes to have shows booked for Mexico as well as the USA and Canada later in this year.

"Visions" is scheduled for release in Europe on March 10 via Escape Music. Songs from the album are planned to be released on a compilation CD from German label ZYX Music, called "Rock Of Ages Vol.3". One of the two songs from "Visions" will be the ballad "Another Day", which was co-written by Ian and VANDEN PLAS guitarist Stephan Lill.

According to a press release, "Ian has recorded this CD based on the wishes of many of his longtime fans, who asked Ian if he come add some of his flavor from his earlier days, which Ian did with pleasure! The style is a very diverse mix of gothic rock, lite grunge, to classical melodic power rock/metal. 'Visions' features special performances from many great musicians such as Ivar de Graaf (former drummer of WITHIN TEMPTATION),Casey Grillo (drummer of U.S. metal giants KAMELOT),Stephan Lill (guitarist of prog-metal band VANDEN PLAS) and members of Ian's original solo band."
