Former FULL DEVIL JACKET Singer Wins 'Best Rock Album' Prize At GOSPEL MUSIC ASSOCIATION Awards
April 14, 2005DAY OF FIRE, the new band fronted by former FULL DEVIL JACKET singer Josh Brown, won the "Best Rock Album of the Year" prize at the 36th annual GMA (Gospel Music Association) Awards, which were held Wednesday (April 13) in Nashville, TN. A radical departure from FULL DEVIL JACKET's hard-hitting metal sound, DAY OF FIRE's self-titled album features a musical style best described as contemporary Christian rock. The CD, which is available on Essential Records, was produced by Scott Humphrey, who has previously worked with ROB ZOMBIE, TOMMY LEE and POWERMAN 5000, among others.
