Former FUSE VJ JULIYA To Film Pilot For New Metal Show

May 9, 2006

Duff's Brooklyn — the heavy metal bar located at N. 3rd St & Kent Ave in Williamsburg, New York — has updated its web site with the following message:

"As you may or may not know, our good friend Juliya [Chernetsky] has amicably parted ways with Fuse TV after a tremendously successful run, traveling the globe, and hosting the channels highest rated programs [including 'Uranium' and 'Metal Asylum']. Juliya will be filming a pilot for her brand new show this Friday [May 12] at Duff's. The segment is part of the show that will feature places that rock, and rock we motherfuckin' do. In addition to bartending with Laurieanne, Jules will be interviewing you, the customers, the staff, and of course, hangin' out & havin' a good time. Without giving away too much, the new show will be more 'street,' and will be the premiere metal show on TV. This is your chance to be part of the very beginning of something that is going to be great. Party starts @ 9 PM. See ya then."

In an April 19 posting on her MySpace.com page, Juliya wrote about her Fuse stint, "I've had a slammin time at Fuse interviewing the bands, rockstars and metal gods, and also getting to know so many of you! While I was there I hosted 'Uranium', 'Metal Asylum', and 'Slave to the Metal', all of them top-rated shows on the channel. Now it's time to move on to bigger, better, badder and more metal!!"
