Former HELLOWEEN Frontman Seeks New Band Name, Pushes Back Release Date
March 21, 2002Former HELLOWEEN frontman Michael Kiske has been forced to choose a new band name for his current solo project after it was discovered that his original choices of INSENSE (or INCENSE) were already registered by other acts. A new moniker is expected to be announced in the coming weeks. In other news, there is still no fixed date for the release of Kiske's third solo record, but an early summer release (June/July) through Noise/Sanctuary Records appears likely. Although most of the songs are already completely recorded and mixed, Michael has to record additional vocals for five songs due to a stomach problem which is making his voice not sound the way he wants it to, according to a message posted at the singer's official web site. He's feeling much better now but he is not fully recovered yet.
Among the tentative song titles that are set to appear on the upcoming CD are:
01. Reconsider
02. Boilingpoints Of No Reburn
03. Can I Know Now?
04. Freak-Away
05. Let's Be Sun-Like
06. A Bit Of Her
07. Ride On
08. Hey
09. Turn It
10. He Pretends
11. Hackneyed
12. That's Why
13. Overrated
