Former MEGADETH Guitarist MARTY FRIEDMAN Guests On New Concert DVD
September 29, 2004A live performance in Kobe, Japan by Japanese pop sensation Aikawa Nanase, featuring former MEGADETH guitarist Marty Friedman, has been released on DVD. The short version of this video was broadcast on NHK in Japan and now you can own the full concert. The electrifying energetic set contains 22 songs including all Nanase's hits and some songs rarely played live too. It's a perfect introduction to those new to j-pop/j-rock. Also on the Friedman front, Marty has a very special surprise coming up this year with Roland/Boss where fans worldwide will be able to get their hands on the raw studio tracks of a brand new Marty song. The upcoming BOSS BR-1200 12-track recorder will include Marty's "Atomic Locust" and it will allow the user to separate the tracks and even add his or her own playing into the mix. The BR-1200 will make its debut at the upcoming Winter NAMM in L.A.
Meanwhile, Marty's weekly AU/MUSIC LIFE/ez channel cell phone video broadcast is scheduled to begin October 1 in Japan.
