Former MEGADETH Guitarist To Appear On Japan-Only DVD

Former MEGADETH guitarist Marty Friedman performed a special show in Tokyo, Japan on August 24th as part of Dai-Gakki-Sai, which is said to be "like a NAMM show for Japan," according to the guitarist's official web site. "The theater that Marty played in was jam-packed with wall to wall fans who have patiently waited to hear Marty's playing again in Japan. He played three songs from his upcoming Music For Speeding album as well as two special pieces of music specifically written for the event. In between songs, Marty was interviewed about, among other things, the Boss GT-6 effector he was using. This performance was filmed to become a DVD only available in a special issue of Young Guitar magazine."
