Former RADAKKA Members Launch New Project

SLICK, the Illinois-based band featuring former members of RADAKKA and REBELS WITHOUT APPLAUSE, have launched their official web site at www.slickband.com.

Consisting of Dean Maltese (lead vocals, bass),Jon Dobbs (guitar, backing vocals),Mark Alano (guitar) and Frank Alongi (drums, backing vocals),the quartet describe their material as a mixture of "the crushing sound of today's 'nu-metal' bands" mixed in with "powerful vocals and incredible harmonies."

SLICK have thus far played local gigs with such national acts as BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, LILLIAN AXE, and NEAR LIFE EXPERIENCE, with more dates soon to be announced.

RADAKKA released two critically acclaimed full-length albums in the late '90s through the Century Media label: "Malice And Tranquillity" (1995) and "Requiem For The Innocent" (1998).
