Former RAINBOW Singer Comments On URIAH HEEP Tour
October 10, 2004Former RAINBOW and current YNGWIE MALMSTEEN singer Doogie White has commented on his upcoming U.K. tour supporting URIAH HEEP with a band called WHITE NOISE. While Doogie is in America, WHITE NOISE — who consist of members of MOSTLY AUTUMN — are rehearsing up a set of RAINBOW songs from Doogie's time with Ritchie Blackmore as well as a couple of surprises.
Commented Doogie: "The offer to do the HEEP shows came right out the blue a day before I arrived in the States. HEEP's manager asked if I would do the shows with the MOSTLY AUTUMN guys and gals and it seemed like fun. I will get to sing songs that I never thought I would sing ever again, which will be great. I toured with HEEP when I was in MIDNIGHT BLUE. Hmmmm… Maybe we should do a MIDNIGHT BLUE song..."
