FREEDOM CALL Keyboardist To Sit Out Tour; Temporary Replacement Announced

February 7, 2006

FREEDOM CALL/GAMMA RAY drummer Daniel Zimmermann has posted the following message on the FREEDOM CALL web site:

"Nils Neumann will not play the keyboards during the FREEDOM CALL tour in March and April. He wants to finally finish his studies and his exams are within this period. Nils will stay a fixed member of the lineup. Eero Kaukomies from Espoo/Helsinki will be the substitute. Some of you might know him from his performances with GAMMA RAY during their 'Majestic' world tour last year."

FREEDOM CALL recently announced the addition of 26-year-old guitarist Lars (no last name given) to the group's ranks. The band's new lineup is now complete, having recently added bassist Armin Donderer as the replacement for Ilker Ersin (now in POWERWORLD).

FREEDOM CALL's latest studio album, "The Circle of Life", was released in March 2005 via SPV Records. A live album, entitled "Live Invasion", came out in May 2004. The disc, which was recorded on the band's tour with BLIND GUARDIAN, came with a special bonus CD featuring the "Tears of Taragon" EP plus two tracks that were previously only available in Japan.
