GARY MOORE To Issue New CD Through Sanctuary

Legendary axeman GARY MOORE will release an as-yet-untitled new CD through Sanctuary Records on (or around) August 26th. Featuring a return to the power-trio format, with Cass Lewis (bass, ex-SKUNK ANANSIE) and Darrin Mooney (drums, ex-PRIMAL SCREAM) completing the group's line-up, the upcoming album will be reportedly be issued under the band name SCARS, although this has yet to be confirmed. The full track listing for the album is as follows:

According to MOORE, the new album will be "a lot rawer and 'earthier' than my recent blues and I'm experimenting with some new guitar sounds. I'm back with the Strat and you'll hear the Hendrix influence in some of the riff based songs which I haven't been known for."
