GIRLSCHOOL's KIM MCAULIFFE Featured On New WAR MACHINES OF LOVE Single

October 30, 2006

GIRLSCHOOL's Kim McAuliffe is featured on backing vocals in the track "Vultures of the Soul" on the debut single from WAR MACHINES OF LOVE, the new U.K.-based band formed by ex-NEW MODEL ARMY guitarist Adrian Portas. Entitled "Submarine", the single comes out today (October 30) and features the title cit alongside "Mobile Home" and "Vultures of the Soul".

GIRLSCHOOL will embark on a European tour beginning mid-November. The band last fall finished recording new versions of the songs "Emergency" and "London". Both tracks are available as paid digital downloads. If you want to hear a sample of either cut, check out the "Downloads" page of the group's web site.

GIRLSCHOOL is continuing to tour in support of its first-ever live DVD, "Girlschool Live at the Garage", and their 2004 album, "Believe".
