GOD AMONG INSECTS To Record New Album In The Summer

GOD AMONG INSECTS, the Swedish "old-school" death metal band featuring vocalist Emperor Magus Caligula (DARK FUNERAL),guitarist Lord K (a.k.a. Kenth Philipson) (THE PROJECT HATE),bassist Tomas Elofsson (SANCTIFICATION) and drummer Tobias Gustafsson (VOMITORY),has issued the following update:

"We have been offered a new record deal and as soon as all the details are cleared we will announce it here. This means we are planning to record the third album this summer and will continue to write songs up until then. Expect another filthy slab of death metal in 2007."

GOD AMONG INSECTS has been confirmed for the Solid Metal festival, set to take place February 24 in Alingsås, Sweden. Also scheduled to appear are GRAVE, RAISE HELL, SHOT INJECTION, LOCH VOSTOK, DRACONIAN and CERTAIN DEATH.

GOD AMONG INSECTS' sophomore album, "Zombienomicon", was released in April via Threeman Recordings (the label co-owned by members of ENTOMBED). The follow-up to "World Wide Death" was recorded at Abyss studios in August 2005 by Tommy Tägtgren.
