GODDESS OF DESIRE Drops Off Spain's POUNDING METAL FEST, PARADOX Steps In

April 19, 2008

GODDESS OF DESIRE has cancelled its appearance at the Pounding Metal Fest II, set to take place Saturday, May 3 at Caracol Club in Madrid, Spain. According to the festival organizers, "this outfit have a very special stage show, using fireworks, pyrotechnics, and flames, and the venue don't allow the use of this kind of elements, so we have been forced to cancel the band. GODDESS OF DESIRE themselves refused to play at the festival if they couldn't bring the fires, so in good terms, we agreed to postpone their show for a next edition of the event."

Replacing GODDESS OF DESIRE on the festival billing is the German metal band PARADOX.

The final running order for the event is as follows:

NIGROMANTE - 19.30 n
PERSEIDAN - 20:15 h
REDIMONI - 21:05 h
PARADOX - 22:05 h
STEVE GRIMMETT'S GRIM REAPER - 23:15 h
