November 8, 2010French extreme/progressive metallers GOJIRA entered a Los Angeles, California-area studio in early November with producer Logan Mader (ex-MACHINE HEAD/SOULFLY guitarist) to begin recording a new four-song EP, the proceeds from which will benefit Sea Shepherd, an anti-whaling organization. The EP will feature appearances by several "very special guests."

"We'll record and produce [four] songs that [we] will sell on our web site without going through traditional ways," guitarist/vocalist Joe Duplantier said in an April 2010 French-language video interview. "The benefits of sales will be donated to Sea Shepherd. There will be guests from the international metal scene [on the record]."
GOJIRA recently supported METALLICA on a short European tour. Also on the bill was FEAR FACTORY.
"Terra Incognita", the debut album from GOJIRA, was re-released as a limited-edition digipack with three bonus tracks on August 24, 2009 in Europe (October 15, 2009 in North America).
Universal Music Publishing has released a 135-page tablature book for GOJIRA's latest album, "The Way Of All Flesh", which can be ordered from the band's webshop.
Since making its American debut alongside CHILDREN OF BODOM and AMON AMARTH in late 2006 in support of their landmark album "From Mars To Sirius", GOJIRA has become one of metal's most acclaimed and admired acts. The group has also toured with such heavyweights as LAMB OF GOD, BEHEMOTH, MACHINE HEAD, TRIVIUM and JOB FOR A COWBOY, and more recently, IN FLAMES and ALL THAT REMAINS.
