GORGOROTH Recruit Session Musicians For Upcoming Tour
August 31, 2004Norwegian black metallers GORGOROTH have recruited drummer Dirge Rep (ORCUSTUS, ex-ENSLAVED, GEHENNA) and guitarist Teloch (ORCUSTUS, NIDINGR) as session musicians for their upcoming European and Mexican tours.
GORGOROTH will embark on the "Twilight of the Idols" European headlining tour in early October. Support at all shows will come from 1349, the Norwegian group featuring SATYRICON drummer Frost. A Mexican trek will follow in early November. The complete list of tour dates can be viewed at this location.
GORGOROTH drew international attention in early February after they were accused of "offending religious feelings" during a concert in Poland. The band were also suspected of breaching the Polish law on protection of animals by displaying the severed and impaled heads of sheep as part of their stage act.
