GOTTHARD's 'Need To Believe' Certified Platinum In Switzerland
January 13, 2010"Need To Believe", the latest album from Swiss hard rock veterans GOTTHARD, has been certified platinum in the band's home country for sales in excess of 30,000 copies.
The group was presented with the platinum-award plaques (see photo below) this past Saturday (January 9) at the "Swiss Awards 2009", which also included the TV premiere of GOTTHARD's new radio single, "Don't Let Me Down".
GOTTHARD's "Unconditional Faith" video can be viewed below. The clip was shot in Zagreb, Croatia last summer and it features performance footage filmed inside the boxing ring that was used in an upcoming movie in which boxing champion Henry Maske plays the title role of Max Schmeling.
"Unconditional Faith" comes off "Need To Believe", which registered the following first-week chart positions:

Germany: #8
Austria: #28
Sweden : #30
Japan: #57
"Need To Believe" was released on September 4, 2009 via Nuclear Blast Records.
