GRAVE Push Back Release Date Of "Back From The Grave"
June 10, 2002The current incarnation of the legendary Swedish death metal outfit GRAVE—Ola Lindgren (guitars/vocals),Jonas Torndal (guitar),Jensa Paulsson (drums),and Fredrik "Fredda" Isaksson (bass—ex-THERION)—have pushed back the release of their much-anticipated comeback CD, entitled Back From The Grave, to an as-yet-unspecified September date through Century Media Records. According to a message posted on the band's official web site, "the album was not completed as scheduled before the [recently-completed European] tour started, and therefore the release will be in September instead of June which was the original plan. Nine songs are recorded and the mixing/mastering will be done in late June."
Described by Lindgren (guitars/vocals) as "very hard and heavy" and a continuation of the band's classic Soulless effort (1994),Back From The Grave was recorded at Stockholm's famed Sunlight Studios with longtime producer Tomas Skogsberg.
