GRIEF OF EMERALD To Release 'It All Turns To Ashes' In December
October 31, 2012Swedish blackened death metal band GRIEF OF EMERALD will release a new album, "It All Turns To Ashes", in December via Non Serviam Records. The CD was recorded by Stefan Karlsson (SOUL REAPER) and Dragan Tanaskovic at Bohus Sound studio in Kungälv, Sweden. The effort contains nine crushing songs with "dark, world-ending, anti-religious themes," according to a press release.
Commented drummer Carl Karlsson: "I think GRIEF OF EMERALD are one of the most potential bands in the black/death metal scene. GRIEF OF EMERALD gives their fans what they always have done. A mix of death and black metal with some epic feeling. I promise you that 'It All Turns To Ashes' is not gonna disappoint our fans. We are more darker, faster and more hatred than ever."
GRIEF OF EMERALD's fourth album, "The Devils Deep", came out in June 2011 through Non Serviam Records.
The band's previous three CDs — "Nightspawn" (1998),"Malformed Seed" (2000) and "Christian Termination" (2002) — were all made available through Listenable Records.
